"You stop lookin' at my girlfriend's breasts!"
"You stop having sex in a cave!"
My most sincere apologies to all Rogue/Remy shippers out there.
I just recently discovered the joy that is Poi Lass's fanfics. Linh, you've probably read this, but in case you haven't, you have to check out First do no harm. Jeannie, you might have read them already, but just in case, check out BURNT and Love with the Lights On. Sue, the fic needs more nudity but it has Remy and Bobby together, so check it out. To perfectly honest, I'm turning into a Wolverine/Bobby slasher, but sadly, Poi hasn't written any yet *shed tears*
Alison, that's awful about the cats. Are they really going to go through with that mass murder? I'm not the greatest fan of cats, but they're decent animals who don't hurt anyone and certainly don't spread SARS, so I don't see why the government is planning to cull all the stray ones. It's inhumane and unfair. Is there anything I can sign or someone I can write to?
Did "Beth Anne" listen to Enya, Satsuki-chan? I always found a dead-give-away of a Mary Sue fic is if the ladylove listens to Enya.
That's one freaky dream, Ammie-chan. Something about lightlessness freaks me out. Methinks it's the lack of control O.o I hope you nicer dreams tonight, Arashi in French Maid outfit or the likes.
To my biological clock: Will you please fucking stop ticking? I refuse to go into the wedding-magazine-hunting, baby store window shopping, and waking-up-crying-because-I'm-in-my-twenties-and-no-closer-to-wife/motherhood-than-when-I-was-10 fest I went through this time last year, so you might as well stop, and allow me to stuff myself with ice cream and cookies and comics and cartoons and sigh with relief/gladness/gratitude of my single blessedness where I don't have to worry about too fat to please a significant other and let me act like an airhead without the fear that it would mean no babies in the next ten years in peace.
Gah. Mother Nature is a bitch.

AUGH! I spent two hours on the last entry and my stupid stupid STUPID computer crashed and erased everything. And I can't re-write all of it because my CTS is really bad and I was supposed to get a three or four day break afterward to keep it from getting worse. ARG! I'm so ticked off and tired. Oh well, I'll try it again. Very quick social blogging:
Satsuki-chan, I'm still so sorry about your birthday, darling. Here's sending you Kusanagi for days and Wolverine for nights and Nightcrawler for any time inbetween, minus fur add tattoos and cool clothes. I was going to ask you after his German after watching X2 the first time, but I guess if you his accent was cute, it couldn't have been that bad. You rock for saying that Dumbledore would be awesome going evil, but no to Remus/Snape. Snape belongs with Sirius. They're so much more fun when they can't stand each other ^^
Ain't that right, Alison? Why I wouldn't marry Vryce and Tarrant, as much as their chemistry together turns me on. I prefer them barely tolerating each other than getting along and doing the cute couple thing. It's unbelievable sexy. Especially when they're equals. I don't ever have to worry about Tarrant calling Vryce "Little One", THANK GOODNESS! And Arwen is so cute!! ^___^ What a sweet face the puppy has.
I'm glad I can hug and kiss you with a clear conscience now *Hugs/Smooch* I know, I would have loved to see Beast and Gambit too, but there's always X3. As for what it is exactly that I want to join, if you're involved and Kanoe, I'll endure the tentacles. Ooh, I want a badge! And we'll make time for broom closets *lol*
[/whining] May 21, 2004 That's practically a year away! It's so long!! [/end whining] But that is a lovely picture, Jeannie. And how do you feel about singing that Alice song for the next kareoke night? ;)
Thanks for the link to your LJ, Maria. I hope things work out between you and that lady. Pictures of your bother-in-law can wait :) And love your post to the Sakura Board. It's great seeing all this support for Kusanagi there.
Malice, have you checked out what's wrong with your heart yet? I hope it's nothing *hugs* Sorry about taking so long to get back to your email, but ask Sarah and Ammie. I haven't answered emails in months, but I did love the picture (you look so cute), and am enjoying the writing. I like "Matrix: Reloaded" more than you did - I thought it had its moments - but yeah, you pretty much summed up how I felt about it. It was pretty crappy.
So while we're on a Matrix thought, Sue, find any twin fics? ;) Yes, I'm being rhetorical *grin*
And my fingers and wrists and forearms and elbows are killing so I'll see you all later. Yeow!

FRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITH!!!!
*Insert appropriate swearing* I am so sorry, I am so sorry, I am so so so so very very very sorry, I can't even begin to tell you how unbelievably sorry I am, and I am so fucking unbelievably sorry!!!!
SATSUKI-CHAN! HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY! *GLOMPS**HEARTS*SMACK*
I love you dearly, girl, you know that. You're totally awesome and wonderful and unique and I love how put a little edge to your writing and replies and your pictures are lovely and I love your online newspaper and all your cool original stories. Plague and Rana! I'm going to make it up to you, I swear I will *Hugs Very Very Very Very Tightly*
Lika frolicked in the snow at Friday, May 23, 2003, 11:36 p.m.
Mmmm. Rice pudding. I'm addicted. I've been having it everyday for the last month, even if it's freakishly expensive, but yum. Orgasm cake ala Reloaded has nothing compared to rice pudding. Me want more.
I had a post and an email ready yesterday and the computer screwed up and erased them both. I'm annoyed, and I don't know when I'll get the time to rewrite them, but for now, while I have this fifteen minute break, I just have to say, Jeannie, that thing about Xavier-Loves-Jeannie is creepy, but the thing about Picard falling in love with Janssen's character is beyond creepy. I saw there reading your blog going, "No Freaking Way!" That's just creepy O.o
LOL! Xavier is the most quotable person in X-Men. I love that line about him being confined to a wheelchair. Of all the reasons not to tell Jean...
X-Men is such a soap opera ^_____^
Lika frolicked in the snow at Friday, May 23, 2003, 11:02 a.m.
I don't like the blue one. Let's bring him back to the circus.
Why Arnold should most definitely not (or most definitely SHOULD) be cast as Colossol in X3 *grin*
Jeannie, thanks for the link! I really appreciate it. Saves me from making any more foolish assumptions like Jean Grey and Professor X being married. That just smacks too much of Captain Picard and Beverley Crusher, though this site seems to imply that he was in love with her at some point. I need to swing by the CBS and grab some comics. All the things I know about X-Men come from the first movie and the cartoon, which rocked, but mostly from what you tell me so I'm going to depend on you on getting caught up in the comic. BTW, "God Loves, Men Kills" is an AssKicking issue. Very creepy how humans can manifest the same powers as mutants and use it for evil but see it as for Greater Good. One of the more thought-provoking things I've read in a while.
More social blogging to follow, but first, my answers to Ammie's survey. Yes, some replies are the same as her. I had other people in mind but hers were much better so I stole her answers. What can I say, she's the rightest person in the MB (with Alison being the righter one ^^) BTW, about the last question, I'm only doing two people for now. I'll think up a third later on.
Character (from anywhere) you absolutely do NOT want to see killed off: (HP) SNAPE! Rowling, you touch my Snapey Boy and I swear, I'll call flood, boils, and pestilence on you. I don't even want to read Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, not until someone else has read it and can tell me if Snape comes out alive *and in one piece*. I fear for my Snapey *whimpers*
Character you DO want to see killed off: (X-Files) Cigarette Smoking Man. Never will forgive him for what he did to Spender, and he's just all talk. He lost his menace and his intrigue around S7 and is just boring now. Kill him off and spare me the annoyance.
Character you don't want to see go evil: (HP)I have to agree with Ammie and say Percy. I love Percy because he is a good guy who does not kiss Dumbledore's ass and does everything Harry's way (also why I love Snape) so I hate to see him go evil just because he does things differently. We need one good guy who's pompous and a pain and snotty and who is his own person not dwarfed by Harry's shadow.
Character who would be fucking AWESOME going evil!!! >:D: (HP) DUMBLEDORE! Just because he is evil :P
Most under-rated relationship in a series: Montgomery Burns and Smithers. Come on, who doesn't want to see those two have sex? Yeah, me neither >_<
Most OVER-rated relationship: Again, Ammie is the rightest. On top of that, Kaoru Nagisa is the most overrated character in the series. And much irkage goes to the fact that people complain that they can't like the DoH because they're not well developed and given enough pages, but after ONE episode, Kaoru is practically a fandom diety. Meh. Karen had him skinned a mile.
Character who should get laid RIGHT NOW! :): (Watership Down) Bluebell. Someone needs to write me a Watership Down smut where Bluebell gets his "two mudders" and has a threesome.
Couple who it would be a crime if they don't get married: Bigwig/Hyzenthlay. I bought "Tales from Watership Down" just to see if they did. Damn, Adam, he didn't tell me :P But they belong together. Hazel can have Thethunninang.
Top three male characters you'd marry. (I mean, the actual "where did the bath-plug go to, dear?" day-to-day living with them deal): 1. (Watership Down) BigwigBigwigBigwigBigwigBigwig!!! BIGWIG! he has passion, he has strength, he has loyalty, he has recklessness, he has incredible heart and love and cares deeply for those who are close to him and oh, I just want to lick that rabbit all over, from the top of his fur tuff to the end of his cottontail *melts* Thlayli, you made me believe in the male race. I want to have all twenty eight of your kittens *pleads*
2. (X-Men) Hugh Jackman's Wolverine. Would say Cyclops, but he belongs with Jean, and I can't even break them up for this quiz. Yeah, I know he would be packing up and leaving me a lot, but it's my idea of an ideal marriage: husband leaves me alone for most of the time, comes home to do the husband/wife thing for a couple of days and then I'm my own person again. It's like being married without being married ^^
Top three female characters you'd marry: 1. KAREN KASUMI. Not only my favorite X character, or my favorite female fictional character, but she's my favorite fictional character of all time, of any gender and any series, EVER. I'd marry her, soapland job, heterosexual crush, child abuse past and all. I'd marry her in a flash and hold her and keep her close to me and never ever let her go.

Isn't Jeannie the coolest? How many people do you know would put up pictures of the woman who's trying to seduce their husband on their blog for a bunch of us impatient ingrates? But we are grateful, Jeannie. I've forgotten to mention that Sue's boobs were one of the highlight of the evening ;)
And now for something a geek with too much time on her hands would do:
Famke Janssen as Jean Grey
Jeannie as Jean Grey
Kelly Hu as Deathstrike
Lika as Deathstrike
Rebecca Romijn-Stamos as Mystique
Sue as Mystique
Emma Frost as Emma Frost
Linh as Emma Frost
And for a bonus track:
Natalie Portman as Padmé Amidala
Jeannie as Padmé Amidala
Lika frolicked in the snow at Friday, May 9, 2003, 12:48 p.m.
Correction: Jeannie is really from Hull, but is so cool that we Ottawans insist that she’s really a native from here. By the way, Jeannie, did you read Maria’s latest post about her brother-in-law looking like James Marsden? And he’s single!? Your layout is gorgeous, btw. “Hugh Jackman, Hugh Jackman” indeed. Talk about wanting to lick someone all over like a lollypop. I so want to see him sing and dance. As Wolverine. With Cyclops and Jean and Xavier. So when is New York happening again?
Some quick social blogging in which I over abuse capital letters. You may blindfold me and walk me to the nearest cliff, provided that the floor is covered with cotton candy of course. Mmmm… cotton candy. You can never have too much cotton candy. Cotton candy makes the world go wheeeee, and gleeeee, and urg, and vomit.
Ammie: You darling, I love all the results to your tests!!! Yuri, it’s just so you, with a smathering of tentacles and a whiff of body paint. LET ME JOIN! *Bangs computer desk in demand * Is it any wonder you’re only 26% pick-up-able? The test was about you and other men. Wrong gender. I’m sure if person X was Usagi, you’d be up in the 90%s. Either that or scaring her *lol * But I got 27% on the test, so we can be frigidaires together, old women in rocking chair surrounded by cats who spends their spare time in broom closests *wink * And a kiss and a hug for you, even if you hadn’t seen X2 yet, for the gorgeous Karen pin and the squeals-inducing letters. Only for you, though, because you’re special and all that *glomps back *
Alison whose name translated into Elvish is Arwen: Regarding your furry alter ego, one word: PICTURES.
Satsuki-chan: I really love that self-portrait. Your other pictures are lovely too, especially the one with Caroline and the Cat. You caught a mood there. Secret Garden as a musical? Wrongness.
Maria: I want pictures of that brother-of-law of yours NOW. And his address. And his phone number. *lol * I’m glad you’re not leaving us for LJ, but could you put up a link to it for those of us who wants to read it? If your Elitist Bastard friends don’t mind, of course J The Riverwatch thing sounds cool, especially the calligraphy and fighting. That is neat! And so glad you liked the movie! Nightcrawler was wonderful. Just wanted him to hug me and teleport me to someplace green and pretty and private.
Malice: Hey, congratulations on passing Cisco 2 finals and good luck with your other exams. I owe you an email. I swear I'll get to it sometime within May. Loving the Nightcrawler layout. Comic book too!
Sue: You biased girl, you, yes, I think I got it. And I agree, Linh was hot that night. So hot that friends of mine who went to the same showing without me knowing didn’t see me but noticed her *grin* Linh, you did Emma Frost proud. So when are the pictures coming out? ^_^
And Sue, X2 second time around is so much slashier. Mystique asking what Wolverine “really” wanted and the smile Xavier gave Cyclops in the plane and Magneto passing the light back to Pyro. I see a pattern forming. It's good to be old in that universe :P
Lika frolicked in the snow at Wednesday, May 7, 2003, 08:03 p.m.
Possible Spoilers for X2.
I saw X2 again yesterday with Jeannie and some other people, my nieces and sisters amoung them, and that movie is actually better the second time around. Mainly because you can concentrate on the characters more and notice little smiles and gestures and expressions you didn't see in the first one because you were so blown away by the special effects and the stories and the awesome cast. Famke Janssen is so good as Jean Grey. I love that adorable smile she gave after she told Wolverine that girls flirt with dangerous guys but takes the nice ones home, and how her voice choked when she told Cyclop she thought she lost him, and the determination and emotions in her expression when she saved the other X-Men on the plane. Never tell me former models can't act (especially after Rebecca Romijn-Stomas as Mystique) I went into something of a spiel of how cute and hot and awesome she was when we left the theatres.
I had no idea the bad effect my constant gushing over pretty girls was on my eight-year-old niece until I asked Connie if she liked Storm in the movie (Storm is her favorite X-Men) and she answered, "Yeah, Storm is HOT!" I was horrified. And laughing hysterically on the ride home.
But oh, if Connie starts saying she wants to lick people all over like lollypops, I'm moving out of the house and not coming back until she's ready to date... which if I have any say in it won't be until she's twenty five.

SHRIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't even begin to tell you how KICK ASS AWESOME X2 is. I haven't wanted to lick so many fictional characters since Watership Down. I love Mystique, I love Magneto, I love Kitty, I love Storm, I love NIGHTCRAWLER, I love Wolverine, I love Cyclops, I love love love Jean Grey, I love the man in the wheelchair, I love Brian Singer, I love Stan Lee, I even love Blinking Harry Potter. I love the whole friggin world and I just want to hug and kiss everyone and make them watch X-Men 2 and hug and kiss them afterwards and make them watch the movie again and hug and kiss them after that. Watch the movie, all you fools who haven't seen it yet. Then come to me for your kisses and hugs. I ain't kissing or hugging anybody until they've seen this movie.
*squeals* It was so good, it was so good, it was so good, it was so good!!!!! *imitating Ottawa's lovely Jeannie (and how lovely the red looked on her) hopping and screaming after the movie. And she was moved to tears, which I can't blame her for. The Scott/Jean thing was too sweet for words. As if "The Dark Pheonix Saga" didn't rip my heart open enough *sniff* I can't wait for X-Men 3 *SQUEAL* The Black Queen, that's all I'm saying *bouncing*
Emma, you hot blonde skank, you, what makes you such a bitch? ^_~
Lika frolicked in the snow at Friday, May 2, 2003, 11:44 p.m.
I totally and utterly bombed that seminar, but I'm too into the thrall of this fanfic to care *slobbers*
Goodfics makes me happy. They make me very happy and produce much squealage and shriekage and other -age and oh, you have to read this. You so have to read this. You'll laugh, you'll squeal, you'll think it's better than Cats. Okay, maybe not the last one, but you all love good well-written fics that make you go all happy, right?
Of course you all do, so march you down to this site and enjoy a Smallville/Lilo&Stitch crossover, all full of Stitchy goodness, and oh, did I ever love Stitch in the
movie. I must have seen that movie like fifty times over Christmas and I turned into gigantic Stitch fangirl. Just the thought of his tongue in his nostrils makes me melt. I love that blue flurry little monster, I heart him, I want to lick him all over like a lolly. I want to lick Bigwig all over like a lolly. I want to lick all fluffy
and furry things all over like a lolly.
Let's hope I don't run into the neighbour's dog on my way home O.o

Blogging is totally the last thing I should be doing right now, but I need to seriously glomp some people *HUGS* for braving the retarded Canada Post system, let other people know that I thoroughly enjoyed the two hours I spent with them on a particularly Monday afternoo and totally looking them up in Toronto the next time I'm going (May 2, btw, much to my disgust as I BADLY want to watch X-Men2 with her) and assure some well-missed friends that I will indeed get to their long overdue emails and that I'm still in their thrall and want to marry them and coat them with chocolate sauce. But I've got to get this stupid, STUPID assignment done before I do any of those, and damn, I haven't even read the stupid 300 page novel yet. I've hit an all new low of bad studentship.
Lika frolicked in the snow at Monday, March 10, 2003, 09:59 p.m.
I'm at my cousin's computer because he has the internet, but ew, is his computer desk ever gross, with coffee stains and peanut bits and chip crumbs and dried sauce all over the keyboard and table. It's disgusting. His screen is covered with grease. I'll be as brief because I can feel fruit flies crawling under my clothes. EEEEWWWWWWW!!!! Why are teenage boys such slobs? Goodness knows I'm lazy and messy, but I do scrub and scour the house every week or so and my computer desk is full of paper and phonebooks, not food particle. This is just sick.
Ammie: Yup, I did have a good party, though I still have to get back at Jeannie for letting the entire bar know why we were there and getting them to sing "Happy Birthday" :P That was a lot of fun. And you do have a good memory of the Dos board! I can't believe you remembered me saying that about the chara files. Yeah, the first time I thought I was listening to one big song. it's a good soundtrack though. Subaru's one is appropriately weepy *grin* That guy needs a smacked with a troll and then have it sit on him.
-->That folk festival sounded so cool! The whole Celtic thing is way cool and quaint and so Middle-Earthy (though I have to admit, Tolkien's writing is a chore to get through -- I am an illiterite.) That sheep line was funny. You gotta love people who don't limit flirting and romancing to just humans (BUNNIES!!!!!) Because even things with tentacles deserve love. I can't believe I said that, but I have to say, that Hinoto Doppelganger doll is a freakingly hilarious idea. Where's handpuppet theatre when you need it?
-->Who-what-what-what-who-what? There was a sheep song sung by canines!!!??? I need to get my hands on Tenth Kingdom!!!!!!
-->Ammie-Babe, if you insist on doing your dance of shiney blue assness in front of me, I cannot be held responsible for my actions ;)
There's more. Isn't there always more? My blog is a mass of unfinished posts, but I've really got to run because I'm positive the fruit flies are sucking my blood at this point. I need to take a long hot shower. This place is just nasty >_<

There's a Wesley/Lilah site out there. That is so wrong >_< But not as wrong as the fact that they're currently the only decent couple on Angel and Buffy right now. Frith help us all.
Lika frolicked in the snow at Wednesday, February 5, 2003, 04:53 p.m.
My church had a Chinese New Year celebration and it reminded me why I love the people at my church so much. They're awful organizers and never ever fail to screw up the sound or visual one way or another, but boy do they ever try hard and put everything they’ve got into their work for God. They made their usual three thousand blunders tonight, but the effort was so sincere and heartfelt I had to love them for it. I couldn’t love a prosperous church that did everything smoothly and professionally, no matter how sincere they are. It lacks the heart and lovability of a gang of mismatched, quarrelsome ruffamuggins who plan big without the foggiest idea of what on earth they’re doing and going through with it anyways.
Kinda like the fact that Jesus asked God before the crucifixion that if there were any other way and God said no, He had to go through with it. I guess a lot of people could be put off by Jesus’ reluctance, but I think that makes his act all the more poignant and touching to me. He understand pain and suffering and gets no joy from it, so He has a fair idea what a lot of us are going through.

I would like to thank vodka for making my 23rd birthday party a memorable one. I don't know who needed you more, the two of us (they so owe us "500 Miles") to sing or the people in the Kareoke Bar who had to listen to us. Drinking may kill braincells, but coming out of a Kareoke Bar sober slaughters a much greater quantity.
Much thanks goes to Lalonde and Amanda, who are apparently bent on making me into an alcoholic, for their gifts of wine and vodka, which, I've been told, should never be drunk together with beer. But then I've also been told that hitting an occupied beehive with a stick is dangerous.
Much thanks also goes to Pheonix Goddess of War and That Skank! for books with pretty pretty covers and my very own good copy of the wonder that is Little Green Men *squeals*, as well as making me aware that I have a gift for giving people things they already have. And how the suckage goes on. At least it gives us the opportunity to go on a shopping together. Nothing rights a wrong like shopping does.
BTW, I'm a believer MadMartigan is Canadian, what with the way he runs barechested through the snow. Val Kilmer with long black hair actually looks good, and he plays dimwit master swordman with a kind of charm that actually made me really like the character, but I'm afraid it's Bruce Campbell who I'm going to be pinning up on my bedroom door tonight. Ah, Brucey, where would the world be without your fine acting?
Maria: So sorry for the belateness, but HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DARLING! I hope yours was as awesome as mine was, with all the vodka, singing, friends sleeping over, and Val Kilmer and Bruce Campbell that your heart desires *Hugs!*
