Thlayli is the Lapine name for Bigwig, the rabbit Lika is obsessed with from "Watership Down". Unfortunately, finding a picture of Bigwig is next to impossible, so this bunny girl will have to do. Lika isn't shedding any tears over that ^_~

This layout features an original character by Sugisaki Yukiru. She is the mangaka who created D.N.Angel, Kouhosei Megami, Sotsugyo M, and Brain Powered. Sugisaki sensei also seems to have an obsession with rabbits. Unfortunately, this cute snow bunny doesn't seem to have a name. So for now, let's just call her "Jailbait Bunny". ^__^

For all those idiots who says university is all that, it isn't. It sucked. I hate it. I wished I went to community college, got my diploma, and after two years of studying threw myself into the workplace where I wouldn't make a lot of money but seeing how I don't want kids, I wouldn't be needing that much money anyways. As long as I have enough for internet and renting movies and airmailing. I don't need a lot of merchandise. In fact, I tend to throw what few of my merchandise away after a few weeks, unless they're gifts. And it really makes no differennce as for the six year program that's going to cost me $50,000 for the education, the job is going only going to pay me $34,000 a year anyways, when a two-year program at community college in the same field that would have cost me $3000 MAX, and I would have been done a year ago!, would have given me $22,000. The difference ain't much, especially when you factor in the nonstress of a job where you shelve books vs. the stress of a job where you actually manage the whole fricking library.

Advice to all high-schoolers out there: if you feel like you're not one for university, ie. you hate studying, you're already sick of school, don't go to university. Seventeen Magazine once said it wasn't for everyone, and one STUPID girl wrote them a letter saying it was inconsiderate of them to say that because everyone should go to university for the experience. Take it from someone who's hating it bitterly right now, and has witness friend after friend dropping out of it broke and disappointed, it isn't worth if you're not determined to finish it.

Okay, social blogging: Satsuki-chan, it sucks about that job. It was practically promised to you. I hope you find another one equally good and high in pay where the people are more considerable. Malice, photographs at Dog Shows, ye Lords. I hope it won't go too badly for the next three weeks. It'll be over and then you can relax for the rest of the holiday. Alison, I'm glad you share a birthday with a princess ^_^ Ammie, good reason to love Mambo best.

Will get to emailing and all the stuff I'm behind in later tonight. And work on rants, because I'm in a most ranty mood right now. Religion, fanfic, war, it's going to be a trip ^^

Lika frolicked in the snow at Wednesday, December 5, 2001, 01:28 p.m.

Someone who we haven't heard from for many months has finally emailed me, proving that there is indeed life after death.

My dear:
1. What on earth is a mambo?
2. It looks like we are about to get bludgeoned with large, unwieldy implements. Told you not to slash Bigwig with the White Rabbit XD

I figured you forgot about them being brothers, Kristin *grin* Seriously, you can't slash Watership Down. Puppies, yes, but not bunnies. You might as well put Hedwig and Errol together and that would be wrong. *glares at certain people* I said WRONG.

Malice, when you made up this clique, did you mean Tokyo Babylon Subaru? Because he kicked ass in Tokyo Babylon. I loved him in TB. He got angry at people, told people off, understood things like that girl's pain and the trouble of the eldery. He wasn't as clueless as people said he was, and he didn't need Seishirou to open up the world to him. Seishirou was there to help him, but come on, the boy wasn't that much of an innocenet and definitely no fool that he couldn't handle the world on his own. He was emotional and shy and polite, but that didn't mean he was dummy. Unfortunately, in X, he seems to be heading off to something worse than dummy. He's boring my socks off. I'm not asking CLAMP to have him overcome his past or do something drastic, but give the guy something resembling a personality. Karen hasn't overcame her past and she still has issues with herself, still works at the soapland and sees herself as worthless, even with Aoki's friendship (*sniff* I love their friendship), but she has personality and an attitude I love. Subaru started out great in X, especially with him and Kamui, but the recent issues made me wonder why I liked him so much last year. He's so dull. Either made him half-interesting again or give me a frozen trout after Linh is done with his kneecaps so I can start on the elbows. Thank God I'm into X for something other than Subaru because I'd be so bored right now.

Definitely prefer Fandom!Subaru at this point. I swear, people, you don't want them to stay in-character half the time because the characters would suck that way. All hail OOCness. And Kerianne, don't care much about who comes to you blog and read your fics. if they think you're immature, they're just being obnoxious. It's like those "Good Fanfic Rings" and "I'm against OOCness" cliques. I love reading fics by those people and fics those people recommand because half the time those fics are OOC, or boring, or overdramatic, or just bad. It smacks of people trying to put themselves above others when they don't have a clue what they are doing themselves. I do try (well, occasionally O.o) to keep in character and keep plots realistic or at least work out the plot so it's plausible, but Hell Will Freeze Over when I start putting up comments like "Die Badfics die." Die Repetitive fics where we get yet another purple prose rendition of Subaru, Seishirou, Sakura Petal, and Angst! You'reMine!SeishirouReallyDoesMe!, Die, but not Badfic because who I am to judge what a badfic is? I know what badfic is to me, and I'll the world that I read a badfic, but that doesn't mean it's a Badfic - or a Goodfic - to everyone. Write whatever you want in your blog, whine, bitch, rant, whatever, it's YOUR blog. I'll always enjoy it, and I'll always read your fics :)

Linh, Queen Amidala looks gorgeous. Now if I could get around to watching Star Wars so I could actually figure out who this Amidala person is. Or Yodi for that matter. Apparently Yodi is not an Ewok.

Lika frolicked in the snow at Tuesday, December 4, 2001, 01:34 p.m.

All Snape fans has to go to this blog and download the song, "Voodoo." I'm not the one who's so far away When I feel the snake bite enter my veins *howls* It is so Snape. On drugs ^_^ I put the song on repeat and just sat there and laughed until it hurt

Hey Meta, I got LOTS of response on this layout and people love the Bunnybait ^_^ I guess I better catch up on some overdue layout praise: Maria, i LOVE the Kusanagi layout! And I hope the excite@home thing goes okay. Malice, the last layout with the fishes was awesome. I love the colors. And the new one with Frodo is spiffy :D Keri, yours freaked me out for some reason. I keep thinking someone is going to break in and take the present from the boy at any moment. And strangely enough, that's why I like it XD

I rented Crouching Tiger for my Mumsy because she wants to know what the fuss is about and now she's hooked on it. Bah, now she won't stop watching it. I didn't like Crouching Tiger, but with my current Michelle Yeoh kick (she is *so* beautiful), I enjoyed it whenever she was there. She's a great actress and was the only decent thing in the movie. Her ending scene with Chow Yun-Fat broke my heart. I need to borrow Wing Chun and The Heroic Trio again. Then I went to a Christmas party my French teacher threw and it was lots of fun. My French teacher looked amazing. She's gorgeous in class in regular clothes and with no make-up, but when she puts on a skirt, layers her hair, and puts up a touch of make-up, it's like CRASH. Finally saw Buffy and okay, Willow has issues, but wow, Alyson Hannigan is so pretty. It's almost enough to forgive her. It has been a nice weekend about girls ^_^

Speaking of Buffy,Jeannie, Buffy is a cold-hearted bitch, but thankfully, she wasn't as a bad as bitch as I thought she would be. And rewatching some season 2 episodes, she does have reasons to be mean to Spike. I can't believe how much of Spike they showed! How did they get that past the censors? No complaints of course ^_^ If you still dislike Snape, you're not alone. My friend Lany can't stand him. She called him a bitch. She said it like it's a bad thing. My sister *just* told me she went to the CBS yesterday and told you I might come by. Should have checked with me first. Sorry about that. It's been crazy lately but I definitely want to go this week. I miss it and I miss you.

*cheers* Another Watership Down slasher =D Hazel/Fiver are meant to be, even if they are brothers. They even shared a burrow once! Just what do you think they're doing in that burrow when Vilthuril is gone? XD My friend Sarah sent me an email telling me she didn't need to know that Watership Down slash existed ^^ Ammie, Bigwig and The White Rabbit is so hilariously not-it. March Hare, maybe, but the only person I could see being slashed with Bigwig is Woundwort and that is totally wrong. I mean, just look at this! And with that I will leave the world of bunnyslash and go to puppyslash. The library provides yet another useful things for the two canines: Books on how to care and feed werewolves. And I read descriptive text ;) Great stuff! BTW, I wanted to be a Hufflepuff, so don't curse the sorting hat quite yet.

Jenni: Who does like Marita Covarrubias? X was cool, and I love them taping the X to the window. "Humbug" was so weird and twisted and hilarious and I loved that it was unsolved, but solved. That last line cracked me up too, and the short guy telling Mulder if he were to stereotype him, he'd think he was an FBI agent XD "Tunguska" rocked for having all sorts of slashy moments between Krycek and Mulder: "Don't touch me like that." Did you see Mulder's face? I didn't like Terma as much though. The trauma of Krycek losing his arm was too much to bear.

good god, now that i think about it, divine comedy and paradise lost are like bible fanfiction oO *lol* Goes back to my point that there is no such thing as "original" art. Why I get annoyed when people say things like, "she took my idea." And on that note, I will say I love Child Abuse ^^ Even original fiction is based on something, another way of looking at something that person experience before, be it a life event they went through or a book they read. Fanfic characters and situation differs substantially from the series they came from that they take on a life of their own. I think fans write for themselves and post for feedback. If I was writing for other people, I would be writing less Karen fics and more S/S fics.

Lika frolicked in the snow at Sunday, December 2, 2001, 08:32 p.m.

For your amusement: Watership Down pictures!!! Because I'm so nice
Hazel:looking very British
Kehaar: Looking less brutish that I thought he would be
Blackavar: When his ears were still intact, poor guy
Dandelion: Looking also very British
Blackberry: Looking tharn
Woundwort: Feh. He looks like a black lump in most of them.
Fiver: Looking like he's suffering those screaming terrors
Pipkin: Looking like he's trying to get into Disney
Frith: Looking like something from biology class
Bigwig: Damn them. He reminds me a T-Rex here. Here's a better one, him and the Black Rabbit of Inle. And not for the squeamish, Bigwig, in the scene that made me love him him to death. Bigwig, you're so the man! ^___^

I know I told you this on the phone, Meta-darling, but I LOVE THIS LAYOUT! The picture seems like something I would do to get Bigwig XD Oh, Thlaaaaaaayli!! Thank you so much!!!!! *hugshugshugs!* That does it. I'm coming to Etobicoke this summer to smush you to death. Watch out for massive glomps, babe! ^_____^

Subaru : Omph! *falls over*
Kamui : HEY!
Me :*holds camera firmly* Pretend I’m not here, boys, and proceed with the whipped cream.
...
Okay, fine, I’ll just leave the camera on the table, but be sure to send a copy of the video to Alison, all right?

OTANJOU-BI OMEDETOU GOZAIMASU, ALISON-CHAN!!! *HEARTS*

May you get a copy of the video ^___^ And everything else you want, me darling. You know I love you to pieces.

Now to make her feel like SPAM ;D

Lika frolicked in the snow at Friday, November 30, 2001, 03:50 p.m.

Thank God the archives still have the Karen layout the Lovely Miss Alison Koh made me *beams* I can always go there to see her. I love that layout so much, but I'm looking forward to one Meta-dear is making for me. Thanks a bunch Metamia! *hugs*

Why do Chinese have two names (English and Chinese), while Japanese tend to only have one? You don't hear any J-rocker call himself John Kinomoto or Jessica Sumeragi, while with the Chinese, you have Maggie Cheungs and Tony Leungs.

Rumours have it that Kenneth Branaugh is to play Professor Gilderoy Lockheart in the second movie. That would be so perfect.

Yesterday it snowed. Then hailed. Then rained. I got soaked, slipped on several stairs, and couldn't feel my fingers when I got to class. You can so tell Ottawa has medicare. Only in a country with OHIP would people J-walk across the street with ice and slush when there's oncoming traffic. Because we know if we got mushed, the government will pay to have us fixed. Unless we get mushed to death in which medicare and OHIP doesn't help a lot.

Okay, Massive Social Blogging, with links this time:

Jeannie: Wai! You have a scanner! You could have so much fun with those thing. I want to scanner. And a DVD player. For those Buffy Season 1 DVDs of course (has it come out yet?) I can't wait to watch Buffy tomorrow. I hope this Tuesday is a new one because I don't have classes for a change and can watch both shows one after another. It should be fun ^_^ And the cat thing was mostly directed to these three catlovers (was too lazy to link them earlier) who spent I think it was two hours trying to convince doglover me into joining the dark side, furballs and all >_< Alison even started putting up pictures of her cats. Speaking of which, Jenni, your cat is cute too. It's all fun and games. Scan your cat's pictures, Jeannie (btw, how wrong is the idea of Jeannie and *Jimmy*?) I want to see how they look like.

Ammie: YAY! Someone else who prefer dogs ^_~ They are indeed more responsive and eager to please. Plus you can teach them tricks! And of course you're on my marriage list, you polygomist! I suggest the honeymoon be in Scotland where we can go hunting for boys like Oliver Wood together. Two short evil virgin library workers togethers. They better run for their lives! Yes, my love, I'll marry you in a heartbeat. As for the blather at the right hand side, yup, I know about your cute little ears and currently copper hair and your long, curly eyelashes you wrench! I practically have no eyelashes *am jealous* But I do have pretty fingernails ^__^

Malice: Okay, Firath and Cayir don't have to have an illegitimate child (it would totally evil if they did ^_~), but I want to see this Toy guy. And when I say my hobby is airmailing, I mean it's airmailing. There's no need for anything in return, unless you really like making layouts. Promise from now on I'm only airmailing fanart :) Good to hear you got tickets for Lord of the Rings for opening night. It would be wrong if you didn't.

Jenni: Jose Chung from Outer Space is one of my favorite X Files episodes ^_^ I LOVE Darin Morgan. His episodes rocked. I liked the mythology episodes up to Paperclip, and then they went downhill from there. The only good thing about them after that was that Krycek was usually involved. Season four was the last season I really worshipped. It had "Never Again" and "Small Potatos" and I love those episodes. I'll check out Tai Chi Master if I can find it. The CBS has Tai Chi Master II, but not the first one. I'll look around. Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh is enough reason to watch it.

Onee-sama: I managed to open your attachment, and I love the wings. Wow. I've always wanted to see your artwork and it's gorgeous.

Satsuki-chan: Before the movie, it may have been a declaration of couple-fight, but as McGonagall and Snape does not equal the Morticia Adam/Jafar from Aladdin appearance I thought they would, Marilla Cuthbert/Alan Rickman just doesn't do it for me. So Hagrid may have her, and I wish them both lots of happiness. If someone can take care of Hagrid, it will be McGonagall ;) I'm only mildly heartbroken. And don't worry, I suck at computer battle-chess too. I'm more of a checkers person. I love checkers.

Azure: Still wearing and loving those slippers you gave me :D

Ali: ACK! Not another catlover!!! *laughs* And Percy isn't that bad, so don't feel bad for getting him, even though you don't remind me of him *at all*. Oh well.

Kerianne: Point taken on Percy. !!!SPOILERS!!! It probably is his high-and-mightiness and definitely his inability to take a joke. But I can't blame him for the last point because being sensitive, there are times when I can't take a joke myself. I do hope Rowlings doesn't turn him evil though. I got the impression from the fourth book that he may go against Harry and co. which would suck because his only real sin would be not being on Harry's side. One reason why I like Snape is because he isn't on Harry's side, but he's not on the other side either. But I'm probably getting ahead of myself and Percy won't turn out be with Voldemart. Though it might improve his character if he was *grin* !!!END OF SPOILERS!!! Congrats on getting on the honor society, dear! It's good to know there are smart people around :)

Alison: Oh, expect a blog entry dedicated to you soon, darling. ^_______________^

Lika frolicked in the snow at Friday, November 30, 2001, 01:39 p.m.

I WISH MY BROTHER WOULD LEAVE ME ALONE AND LET ME DO MY ONLINE STUFF IN PEACE!!!!

The problem with a large family is you NEVER get any privacy.

Lika frolicked in the snow at Friday, November 30, 2001, 1:38 pm

Only I could get my blog links out like that. Ugh. And I'm still not done. Gotta finish the "They're just cool" section. Don't read my blog for the next two days after this. I won't have time to fix them until then, and looking at them now gives me a headache so I can't imagine what they're doing to other folks. Thank God I'm taking a Computer Science class next semester.

Russian Bears Rules! I love that bathtub-mobile! Paddle it through water and win the last race. I love Junkyard Wars.

To all people I may have offended with my cat/dog comment before: I love cats and think they are wonderful creatures with personality. I just happen to like dogs better. But cats are great pets.

Another disclaimer: Alison has informed me that the white mass called Rainbow Bridge is named so because at night, it's suppose to light up in rainbow colours. Thanks for clearing it for me, Alison-dearie.

ali, Alison, Satsuki Ammie, and Maria, thanks for your concern. Means the world to me *hugs all* I'm much better now :)

Ali, Wing Chun is a martial arts move supposely developed by the only women who studied at Shoalin Temple. The movie Wing Chun staring Michelle Yeoh is loosely based on it and highly recommanded by yours truly. You *have* to watch it, especially if you're a Michelle Yeoh. It is so cool you're learning how to fight it!

Jenni, I asked my mom and sure enough, Wong Fei Hong did indeed exist in China. She didn't have anything else to add, except that the officials were corrupt (and it seems Chinese officials were always corrupt). She didn't even have one of her usual parental abuses story that she usually attaches to a name. And your Cantonese is better than mine. I don't know what si tai and si hing means. Did get sifu though. The X Files was my favorite show until Mulder and Scully got all shippy, but I adored it up to the movie. Best season was season three, because it had the Darin Morgan episodes.

Malice, my friend Sarah (hey Sarah! *waves*) who knows X Files, Buffy, and a number of other shows said that Babylon 5 was really good too. Apparently, where Chris Carter made the story as he went along, the creator of Babylon 5 had a storyline already mapped out. I hope Space (TV channel) replays old episode because I would love to catch it. As for Buffy, okay, I wasn't fond of season 4 and 5, but so far, season 6 has been amazing. And Fong Sai Yuk totally rocks. I liked it better than Once Upon a Time in China too, but the latter had better music.

Last Buffy episode was amazing. SPOILER WARNING!!! Not yesterday's because I had classes *scowls* but the one before with AMY! I was so happy to see Amy again and Willow is gorgeous. Going evil, but gorgeous. And gay. I could really get into Amy/Willow. I could get into Willow/Me, but that's another story. I was yelling when it was over because I wanted more. Though that ending! CLAMP has competition in the SM category. Jeannie, did you see this week's episode? Please tell me Buffy wasn't playing coy again. END OF SPOILER WARNING

On the whole Snape thing, Satsuki-chan, I wanted Snape with McGonagall because they're my favorite characters in the series and I like the idea of two stern, strict people who didn't go all ga-ga over Harry together. Don't ask. I guess it was my blinding love for Snape.

Kerianne, on Snape as a sexual being, before Alan Rickman, I did not want to see him naked. After Alan Rickman, I want him for my bedfellow.

And I like Percy Weasley too, Ammie. He's like a male bitch, and you all know how I feel about bitches. He also follow rules, does what he's told, and is generally unliked and shunned by his family members. With that combination, what else can he be? People seem to dislike people who do follow rules in the book. My main annoyance with it. It's still a great book of course, even if I do prefer Diana Wynne-Jones (Christmas hint to RL friends now reading this).

So Maria and I were chatting about how neither of us could dance and we came up to this conclusion: We want to see Ammie on the dance floor. Yes we do.

Satsuki-chan *cuddles her*, I got your cookies :D And that obnoxious owl post of yours. I'm puzzle-impaired so it took me all of two hours to put it together. I wish I was kidding. But it was a fun two hours, much needed after that family explosion yesterday, that lasted until three in the morning, thank you very much guys, I had an eight-thirty class today and two unstarted papers. But I felt a lot better after reading the letter *hugs* You're such a sweetie. Thanks for the cheer-up. And yes, the chocolate is sweet, by delicious. After maple syrup, which I do eat by the spoonful, I'll eat anything.

So I'm back at my brother's place. Stupid nieces were even more distracting than the internet so as I spend yet another sleepless night on this essay, I'll slowly answer the hords of emails I owe everyone. Okay, fine, it's only three, but I will get to them.

To all my cat loving friends: Did you know there were dogs in the army who helped delivered messages and medicine and sniffed out enemies and bombs, and in short, saved hundreds of soldier's lives.

Dogs are so the better creature.

Lika frolicked in the snow at Wednesday, November 28, 2001, 04:50 p.m.

When things are bad, that's okay. When you're responsible for those things, it fucking sucks, especially when a lot of people are affected. I hate it when I'm responsible. Why can't our actions/inactions affect only us? If it was just me, I'd be fine, but I can't bear the guilt for making everyone else unhappy.

Lika frolicked in the snow at Wednesday, November 28, 2001, 01:30 a.m.

Currently in library, putting finishing touches on my Chaucer essay and just looked at the calender and realised today is Liddle Mia Wia Baby's birthday so

HAPPY BIRTHDAY META-CHAN!

All the best this year, babe ^_____^ With lots of pimping possibility.

Today is also cool because I got pressies from Azure-chan. *MASSIVE TACKLE, SQUEEZE, AND GLOMP* Girl, I love you so badly! I love the slippers! They do keep my feet warm and the little green card is so pretty. I love you I love you I love you. =D

Hey, Ammie, did you say nephew-in-progress!? *squeals*

Okay, more social blogging later.

Onee-sama, what does people mean they say something "more than kiss" happened because Arashi and Sorata were sleeping in the same bed?

Of course I check the DoS updates today, 4.5 essays or not, just to see if I should be wearing black for, like, the rest of my life. No, Aoki and Karen are just fine. Arashi and Sorata are even finer. Who'd guess all those "That boy must be in pain... listen to him moan" jokes I made last month would come true ;D Don't bitch to me about spoilers. You know where to find updates. And I'm holding fast to the idea that in the throes of her passion, Arashi was calling out, "AMELIA!" You all know she was, don't argue with me.

Metamia and Alison, you are both darlings! Thanks for justifying my habit of obsessively checking my mailbox. The CCS stationary is SO CUTE, and your handwriting is nice. What the hell are you talking about? And check out the glory of the noncolors of Rainbow Bridge *beams and hugs both*

Jenni, I'll ask my mom if Wong Fei Hong was real. I'm wondering if you or Malice picked up any Cantonese from the movies. I managed to pick about three phrases in ten years of watching them. Shame. BTW, how much do you like the X Files?

Ali, my dear, thanks for the Karen shrine links. Yup, I knew about them, but you reminded me that I haven't signed the guestbook so I better to it when I'm done my essays. They're both great sites on the beauty.

Sats, sorry to hear about your computer problem. That would drive anyone nuts. At least you got a new computer, dear :D

Maria, Wings of Desire was about one of the most unpopular couples in X, so that's probably why it didn't get so many feedback. It seems a lot of fics and fanficcers I adore don't get a lot of feedback, and that annoys me to no end. It's like, damn people, don't you get tired of reading the stuff over and over again? You know how much I love Wings. Hopefully, people will be more responsive to your next fics, because they're all really good.

Currently in the library trying to find books on Shakespearian comedy. There's 92 of them and they're all check out. I totally SUCK

The comic got it right where the novel didn't: "British Columbia, now leaving Alberta." Much Better ^_^

Lika frolicked in the snow at Friday, November 23, 2001, 01:15 p.m.

And one thing before I go to work on my now five essays: According to my mother, there actually was a guy in China named Fong Sai Yuk, and his mother used to beat him with a bamboo poll when he a small child until he bruised and bleeding all over and then throw him in some sort of liquid - I don't speak my family's unnamed language so I think she said iodine and I sure hope like hell it WASN'T iodine, because that would fucking hurt like hell. The loving and sweet mother - Mumsy's phrase, not mine - would beat him and (possibly)iodine him until his body became all hard and tough and he could hardly feel blows and sword-cuts that other people inflicted on him, and she would teach him martial arts and the two of them took on a bunch of corrupted government officials together. What a great parent.

Well, Mumsy, I'm glad you think so, because in Canada, that would be called Child Abuse.
